North Star Bluegrass Wedding Music

         Congratulations on your upcoming wedding.   Thank you for your interest in North Star Bluegrass.   We have several choices of traditional and original bluegrass music to offer you.   Our goal is to tailor a package that will meet your needs.   Listed below are five options we can offer you separately or in combination .

A. Duet music prior to the wedding ceremony-   Two members of the band play quiet and intricate traditional bluegrass instrumentals and love songs on guitar and mandolin while your guests are seated and settling in prior to your wedding ceremony.

B. Duet music during the wedding service- Two members of the band play processional, interlude, and recessional instrumentals as part of your ceremony.   We can help you select music that will be appropriate for your service.   With advanced notice, vocal selections can be prepared for an additional fee.

C. Full band instrumental music while your guests mingle and dine- If you wish the band can play softer bluegrass instrumentals during this social time.

D. Full band music for listening and dancing- North Star offers lively, hard driving traditional bluegrass music for your listening and dancing pleasure.   Solo, duet, and trio vocals and spirited instrumentals characterize the North Star show.

E. Contra/Square Dancing- With advanced notice and for an additional fee, an experienced dance caller can join North Star.   The caller can provide dancing instruction for your guests and "call" line and circle dances for their entertainment and enjoyment.
